In the first half, Blackheath were slow starting with Canterbury starting strong. A few opportunities for Canterbury in the D were seen, but Kyveli made great saves and made sure the ball did not cross the line! Some great distribution from the backline helped Blackheath get a few nice runs up the line.
In the second half Blackheath stepped up their game. A few short corners and some great defending from the backline gave Blackheath some more confidence. A shot from Vicky ended up with a messy flick from Amelia landing in the back of the net. Blackheath were up one but a card later and a few missed opportunities, Canterbury managed to score one back. The end result was 1-1 but it was overall a cracking game.
