What started as a confident mood within the team ended with a disappointing defeat at the hands of Tunbridge Wells.

The first 15 minutes was quite even with half chances at both ends and Tunbridge Wells getting an early goal with Blackheath going straight up the other end and Beth finishing neatly at the back post. Tunbridge Wells managed to nick another before half time with an individual goal.

A half team talk from Hannah and change of pitch led to a strong start to the second half with Kaitlyn nicking an equaliser. But unfortunately, Tunbridge Wells managed to retake the lead almost straight away, Kaitlyn then earned WotW for a terrible attempted tomahawk that went clean through on goal.

As we pushed for a late equaliser, Tunbridge Wells got another goal and the game ended 4-2.
